Randomness on my day off.....
Hey blog Family! Where did the weekend go? I swear I went to bed Friday and when I woke up it was Monday morning. I'm pretty sure this is the start of a very long week. Thank goodness for my vacation in December, but who knows if I'll make it until then. We'll see.
Why are my Son's college applications on hold because his school in Georgia didn't provide his withdrawal grades when we moved to Colorado? So it looks like he has NO credits for the beginning of his 10th grade year which means his transcript is incomplete. UGH!!!! What's even worse is that it messes up his gpa. It's now 2.9 which I'm NOT pleased about because his grades have always been good, with the exception of this math class he's struggling with this year. I JUST got a call back from the school in GA today after leaving message after message for the past week in a half. They BETTER get this mess together TODAY or else.
Hubby cut B's hair, yesterday and did a FABULOUS job. He usually does a pretty good job, but yesterday I was like WOW. It was probably the best cut B's had including professional ones. Go Hubby. Not only did he cut B's hair but he cut K3's hair. *TEAR* I don't know how I feel about it yet, but I do miss all his little curly curls. I was really tearing up watching all that hair come off. When I suggested cutting it, I was half joking, now I'm almost wishing I hadn't. I guess it'll grow back.
Why I have gone through 3 hair dryers in the past year? I had one called the yellowbird which was the best dryer I've ever had. Unfortunately our puppy got a hold of the cord and sent it to dryer heaven. I had a gold n hot, which I didn't care for much and in the middle of drying my hair it went out. My hair was was left looking like this:
This is really not a good look for me. So then Hubby buys me a hair dryer called Red, which heats up pretty good, but the flipping comb comes off constantly while I'm trying to dry my hair, which is a pain in the ASS and practically doubles my drying time having to mess with the stupid comb every two second. For some reason I left it in the garage and hubby mistook the box for trash and threw it away with a WHOLE bottle of Kemi Oil. UGH! We JUST bought this dryer no more than a month ago. I guess that's what I get for putting it in the garage. So now I'm on dryer #4:
Please please PLEASE let this thing perform well. I'm debating on cutting my hair really short again. I had a picture, but STOOPID Blog city wont let me upload it. ARGH!!! I'll have to find away to post it so yall can tell me what you all think.
I signed up for facebook awhile ago, but was never using it until this past weekend. I think I'm hooked. I was on that thing until like 2 in the morning and then for several hours this morning. TOO MUCH!! I think I have an addictive type personality, I'm surprised I'm not a druggy or alcoholic. Lol.
WHY did I not take the Baby to daycare today? I could have gotten so much more accomplished. So far all I've done is Laundry and it's going on 12:00. I bet next Monday when I'm off he goes.

I miss my Girls Dinah and Carlita. I need to like move all my best friends to the same state so we can just all hang out all the time. Why does everyone have to be spread all out over the U.S.
It's pretty nice outside today but I still hate CO weather. I need constant sunshine in my life. I think I'll take my baby out to ride his bike. I always have to jog behind him so I guess I'll be getting some exercise today. I really need to lose some weight.I need to get him out as much as possible before it starts getting too cold.
I have NO boots, and need some really bad. I'll settle for a black pair and a brown pair of tall boots. If anyone wants to contribute to the boot fund, let me know. Lol
I've officially come to the conclusion that I really don't like my job. It sucks that I'm 38 and feel like I have to start my career from scratch. At this point I have NO IDEA what I want to do. I'm burnt out on social services and refuse to go back to that field (which is pretty much all I know) and will NEVER work in corporate after this. This mess is for the birds. I need to start looking for another job, but I hate switching jobs so frequently, something about the inconsistently on my Resume just really bothers me. Oh well!!!
Hubby cooked dinner last night and AGAIN it was delicious. I could really get used to this. We have to bring dessert for Thanksgiving to our Aunts house. I wonder if I can convince Hubby to bake something. Ok let me go try and see if I can get SOMETHING done today. It's not looking promising at this point.
