Happy MLK Day!!!
How fitting is it that today is Martin Luther King day, and the following day our first African American President will be sworn into office. We've come so far!!! Not to say that we don't have a long way to go.
When MLK gave his "I Have a Dream" speech and talked about racial equality, I wonder if he ever truly believed that one day some one like "US" would ever hold such a high office. It's so sad that he, and so many others that fought for civil rights could not be alive to witness such a historical event. I'm SO very proud of our president and am very hopeful about these upcoming years that he will be serving in office.
